'Bangla Novojagron' is a deeply personal exploration of my Bengali heritage, a tribute to the cultural Renaissance that shaped our identity. As a Bengali myself, I feel an immense sense of gratitude and responsibility in representing this legacy. The collection is inspired by the intellectuals, artists, and revolutionaries who ignited a cultural reawakening in Bengal, a period where tradition was questioned and redefined.

Drawing from the spirit of figures like Rabindranath Tagore, whose art and philosophy continue to resonate, and the architectural echoes of colonial-era Kolkata, the collection seeks to express the complexities of our history through a contemporary lens. It is an attempt to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity, rebellion and reverence, while honoring the intricate beauty of Bengali attire, textiles, and craftsmanship.

In essence, 'Bangla Novojagron'  is more than just a fashion collection; it’s a heartfelt homage to the roots that define me.

"Kanthajavik" is a unique project born from the International Lab Experience module, blending the traditional Indian craft of Kantha embroidery with the vibrant street style of Reykjavik, Iceland. Inspired by the city's dynamic atmosphere and iconic architecture, particularly the Harpa Concert Hall, this collection seeks to fuse cultural elements, showcasing a mature understanding of design and innovation.

The collection features bold colors and intricate Kantha stitching, reimagined through a contemporary Reykjavik lens. By merging traditional Indian techniques with local Icelandic inspiration, "Kanthajavik" creates a distinctive aesthetic that celebrates cultural fusion and artistic expression, demonstrating the potential for cross-cultural dialogue in fashion and design.

'Dilli-06' is a project that was a part of a module that enabled us to adapt a particular brand's aesthetic and create a collection accordingly. I got Two Point Two Studios as my brand, and I was so grateful to create a collection for them, amalgamating Old Delhi and Contemporary Streetwear.

This project is my submission for the Lakme Fashion Week 25' Mumbai where I wanted to manipulate traditional Indian Pattern Making to create contemporary silhouettes that adapt to the modern Indian sensibilities.
