Prints & Graphics
This page is a compilation of all the prints and graphics I have generated over a period of four years doing Fashion Design. I have selected twelve of my personal favourites from multiple projects, and added a little description along with them for context.

MUDRA
Embodying the romance of classical Indian dance, this print is inspired by the intricate Mudras—hand gestures that tell stories of love and devotion. Drawing from the ideals of the Bengali Renaissance, I explore the beautiful interplay between tradition and modernity. The auspicious reds symbolize passion and celebration, while the elegant whites reflect purity and clarity. The striking black Mudras serve as a powerful reminder of cultural heritage, inviting us to connect with our roots in a contemporary context.

TALES OF DURGA
Channeling the bold spirit of Jackie Brown by Quentin Tarantino, this print reimagines the powerful visage of Durga, juxtaposed against vibrant shades of orange and yellow. The striking black-and-white depiction of Durga, embodying the essence of every woman, shines through with a radiant glow from her third eye—a symbol of inner strength and wisdom. Draped in an everyday saree, she reflects the belief that every daughter is revered as 'Maa' in Bengali culture, celebrating the divine femininity that resides within us all. This artwork invites viewers to recognize and honor the powerful presence of the goddess in everyday life.

KAALI NAACH
Embracing the fierce spirit of Kali, this print captures the powerful duality of femininity through the lens of traditional dance. The central figure, adorned in classical attire, embodies Kali's ferocity with her expressive face and tongue out, standing defiantly on a pile of skulls—a testament to her strength. The deep reds of the background evoke intensity and passion, while the silhouette of Kali in black serves as a haunting reminder of her warrior essence. This artwork celebrates the complexity of womanhood, illustrating that beauty and power coexist in every woman, echoing the divine energy that inspires and empowers.

SHAKTI
Exploring the duality and individuality of womanhood, this print juxtaposes the powerful expression of a Bharatanatyam dancer with the fierce essence of Kaali. On the right, the dancer captivates with her expressive eyes and tongue out, embodying grace and strength. Split from the center, Kaali mirrors this intensity, adorned in makeup and jewelry, revealing her warrior spirit. This artwork celebrates the profound complexity of femininity, illustrating that beauty and power coexist within every woman, reminding us that each carries the divine within.

BELLA
From the vibrant streets of Old Delhi, this print juxtaposes a striking poster from 'Bella Ladies Salon' with a cascade of colorful hues. The beautiful lady depicted is enveloped in a lively backdrop, while intricate stone engravings form delicate vines that weave through the composition. This artwork captures the essence of urban beauty and the rich tapestry of life in Delhi, highlighting the intersection of contemporary style and traditional craftsmanship. It invites viewers to appreciate the dynamic energy of the city, where every corner tells a story.

DAATUN
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant landscape of Old Delhi, this print captures the essence of the city's rich heritage through a contemporary lens. The intricate stonework of a door column forms the backdrop, while the mouth—a playful nod to a dentist's address—adds an unexpected twist to the composition. Each element is extracted from my own photographs taken during my visit, reflecting the unique grind and character of this bustling metropolis. This artwork serves as a tribute to the juxtaposition of tradition and modernity, inviting viewers to explore the stories embedded within the streets of Old Delhi.

DELHI LUNGZ
The map of Delhi looked like a lung when mirrored and flipped, this is something that inspired this print. With lungs overlayed on a map with distressed grungy filters is exactly how I see Delhi and her effects on my lungs.

DEEWAR-E-KHAZ
The print is a juxtaposition of the different beautiful motifs seen on the columns, doors, and windows of old Delhi.

CHAJJE PE CHAJJA
A vivid print where the intricate stone engravings of Old Delhi's houses are reimagined. The juxtaposition captures the delicate artistry and historical depth of the city's architectural details, creating a compelling visual narrative

BIYER GAADI
Reimagining the traditional Biyer Gaadi, this print draws inspiration from the iconic style of Jamini Roy, merging cultural heritage with modern commentary. Instead of the typical floral adornments, the backdrop features falling Shiuli flowers, symbolizing beauty and transience. The car is adorned with painted eyes, echoing Roy's distinctive portrayal of vision and perception. This modern twist reflects my belief that a wedding car garners more attention than mere flowers, inviting viewers to consider the myriad opinions and gazes that accompany such a significant journey. In this artwork, every eye tells a story, reminding us that marriage is as much about public perception as it is about personal connection.

POISHAR KHELA
Drawing inspiration from the evocative style of Abanindranath Tagore, this print envisions a future where divinity is replaced by materialism. Depicting a saint and his disciples in prayer, their reverence is directed towards a representation of money, capturing the irony of modern worship. The artwork retains Tagore's signature fusion of traditional Indian and Japanese aesthetics, showcasing the figures in a manner reminiscent of his iconic works. This piece invites reflection on contemporary values, challenging us to consider what we truly revere in our lives.

MADIRAPAN
Blending the vibrancy of modern nightlife with the timeless charm of Jamini Roy's artistry, this print juxtaposes men and women enjoying madirapan and hookah against the backdrop of a contemporary bar. The characters, inspired by Roy’s iconic style, hold a playful banner reading 'Wish u matched ur IG pics,' capturing the essence of today’s social media culture. With bold lines and expressive forms, this artwork reflects on how our interactions are often scrutinised through the lens of public perception, inviting viewers to consider the balance between tradition and modernity in their own lives.
